Dear Leons, I was so sad to hear of George's death. The last time I saw George was a few years ago when he stopped by my dad's office. We talked about the good old days at Hertz and about the delicious Christmas cookies he brought over year after year that his wife Liz made. My mother would hide the cookies so they would last for Christmas day, but my dad & I always managed to find them in a different hiding place each year. George was quite a character, and we had so much fun when we worked together at the Hertz counter. The entire crew at Hertz was like one big family back in those days. I know George worked with at least 6 of the 8 Brennan children over the years, if not all 8, and with my Aunt Sally and Uncle Curt. If Dad were here, I know he'd have a story or two to tell about George from their days together at the Savannah Golf Club. Needless to say, George will be missed by the entire Brennan family. With heartfelt smypathy- Julie Brennan Rest in peace, George.
